Lose weight during the Holidays?

Tired of holiday weight gain making you feel like a human ornament? Fear not! I’ve stumbled upon a hidden gem & some tips that’s about to sleigh your extra pounds. Join me in this blog post as we unwrap the effective way to outsmart those holiday treats and give your scale a good laugh!

Research from the National Institutes of Health suggests that holiday weight gain is a real phenomenon, with participants gaining an average of 0.5 to 2 pounds during the winter festivities, and that’s just average, I used to gain at least 5 extra pounds.

Additionally, a study in the Journal of Obesity reveals that the impact of holiday weight gain tends to linger, as participants often don’t shed the gained pounds in the following months.

You have Halloween candy lasting into November, followed by Thanksgiving feasts with pies and leftovers. Then, in the blink of an eye, it’s Christmas and a string of festive parties. The celebrations just keep going, don’t they?

Hydrate Strategically

Stay hydrated throughout the day, especially before heading to holiday events. Drinking water can help control your appetite and prevent overindulgence in high-calorie treats.

Practice Portion Control:

Enjoy your favorite holiday dishes but be mindful of portion sizes. Use smaller plates to avoid overeating, and savor each bite to appreciate the flavors..

Stay Active

Maintain your regular exercise routine or find ways to stay active during the holidays. Invite family and friends to join you in a festive walk, hike, or other physical activities.

Bring Your Own Dish

If you’re attending a potluck or gathering, contribute a healthy dish to ensure there’s at least one option aligned with your dietary goals.

And my number 1 fav way to shed those lbs even during the holidays is THIS.

This is not just a big book of smoothies.
The secret that makes the Smoothie Diet so effective is the Custom 3-Week Weight Loss Schedule. All the smoothies are given in a very specific sequence and frequency to maximize your results. For example the nutrient and ingredient ratios vary week to week to make sure the weight keeps coming off and stays off.

I particularly enjoy the grocery list; it simplifies and speeds up the process of planning meals, making it quick and easy to gather all the necessary items for the week.

Indulging in delightful smoothie concoctions like Chocolate Cherry, Caramel Apple, and Peanut Butter Bliss makes me feel like I’m treating myself while still shedding pounds.
